They scooped up $775,000 worth of SEI tokens on April 12.
That’s 4.89 million SEI added to the altcoin-heavy portfolio from WLFI, according to Arkham Intelligence.
WLFI’s Altcoin Bets Still Underwater Despite $347M Spent
The purchase was made through a trading wallet linked to WLFI, funded by a USDC transfer from the project’s main wallet. It’s the same wallet used to buy other altcoins in previous months. But despite the big spending, WLFI’s bottom line is taking a hit.
So far, the project has shelled out around $347 million on 11 different tokens. This includes big names like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tron. However, none of these bets are currently in the green. In fact, according to Lookonchain, WLFI’s overall portfolio is sitting on a paper loss of about $145.8 million.

Its Ethereum position alone is down more than $114 million — a gut punch in any investor’s playbook. And while Bitcoin has had a strong year, WLFI’s entry price appears to have been a bit too high to ride that wave.
More About Trump-linked Crypto Projects
According to the Wall Street Journal, Binance executives met with U.S. Treasury officials last month to ease regulatory pressure and potentially reenter the American market. During the meeting, Binance reportedly proposed replacing the independent monitor currently overseeing its anti-money laundering compliance. The crypto giant is also said to be exploring a partnership with a Trump-linked crypto project, signaling possible political maneuvering.
The report further claims that as part of his plea deal, former CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) agreed to provide evidence to prosecutors related to crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun. In response, CZ pushed back, saying the WSJ is gearing up for yet another baseless hit piece against him.
