The program works much like loyalty programs you may already know from everyday apps. Users earn points for actions such as trading, swapping, bridging, and referring friends.
The more you use MetaMask, the higher your points climb, unlocking bigger rewards and exclusive benefits. Season 1 will last 90 days, and all $LINEA tokens earned count toward future rewards, creating an ongoing incentive to engage with the platform.
How the Points System Works
To participate, iOS users should update to the latest version of MetaMask Mobile and navigate to the Rewards tab, while Android users can expect the update soon. MetaMask also allows linking multiple accounts, so points from imported wallets and historical activity count toward your total, giving users a head start if they have been active before the season began.
MetaMask Rewards uses a tiered levels system. Starting at Origin, users move up as they earn points through various activities. For example, swapping tokens earns 8 points per $10 traded, and perps trades add 1 point per $10 executed. Referring friends adds 10 points for every 50 points your referral earns, and past activity can provide up to 50,000 points. As points accumulate, users unlock rewards such as token allocations, trading fee discounts, priority support, and even a MetaMask Metal Card for top-tier users.

Level progressions include Frontier at 1,000 points, Sylvana at 25,000 points, and Oceania at 50,000 points, each unlocking additional perks. The highest tiers, Titana and Utopia, reward users with exclusive benefits like access to the AlphaFoxes club and a free metal card for one year. Some rewards, like fee discounts, apply automatically, while others, such as $LINEA allocations, can be claimed after the season ends.
More About Metamask
MetaMask has announced that Multichain Accounts are now live, transforming the way users manage assets across multiple blockchains. Previously, each account in MetaMask could only hold a single address, which worked well for Ethereum and other EVM networks. With multichain accounts, one account can now contain multiple addresses across networks like Ethereum, Solana, and soon Bitcoin, simplifying asset management and reducing the need to switch between separate accounts.

This update builds on MetaMask’s evolution from an Ethereum-only wallet to a fully multichain platform, supporting Ethereum L2s, other EVM networks, and non-EVM networks through native support and Snaps extensions. In this new structure, a wallet contains accounts, an account contains multiple addresses, and each address is a unique identifier on a specific network, making it easier than ever to navigate different ecosystems with a single MetaMask account.
