In contrast, it’s an absolute RWA leader. Ondo is quietly bridging TradFi and blockchain in a way nobody’s talking about.
The numbers, the partnerships, and the insider moves all point in one direction. Missing this Ondo wave could be the biggest regret of 2025. Today, I’m uncovering what’s really driving this surge. I will show you the metrics everyone’s missing. And also, how it could make early believers the next wave of crypto millionaires.
What Is Ondo Finance ($ONDO)
Ondo Finance ($ONDO) is the market leader in the RWA sector for a reason. One thing is that it already has many products and features that actually work. Not every RWA platform can say that. At the helm are Ondo’s two stablecoins.
First, there’s $USDY. This is a yield-bearing stablecoin backed by U.S. Treasuries. It targets institutional and accredited investors.
There’s also $OUSG. This is a tokenized fund backed by U.S. Treasury bills. This is mainly tailored to institutional investors as well.
Ondo also purpose-built its own Layer 1 chain. It combines the openness of a public chain, but is also part permissioned. The latter offers compliance and security features.
There’s also the Ondo Bridge. This uses the bridge tech of LayerZero. Both Ondo Finance and Axelar Network add extra protection. The current transfer options available include four chains. These are Arbitrum, Ethereum, Mantle, and Solana.
With the Converter, you can swap between tokenized assets and their real-world equivalents. Like moving from USDY (on-chain) back to U.S. dollars (off-chain) or vice versa.
In early September, Global Markets went live. This is Ondo Finance’s flagship. In one move, over 100 tokenized assets went live. These are stocks, like Tesla, Apple, or Amazon. However, if you live in the US, unfortunately, it’s not available there. However, if you have access, you can transfer these stocks 24/7, whilst minting is available 24/5. In other words, you have access to the decade’s top performing US tech stocks.

Ondo’s ecosystem is also massive. Currently, you can find 141 partners in the ecosystem, and it keeps growing. Up to 15 networks are represented in the ecosystem. For instance, Sui, Polygon, Injective, or Stellar. So, now let’s take a look at what’s happening at Ondo.

Oasis Pro
On October 6th, Ondo completed the purchase of Oasis Pro. This brings three important features into Ondo’s stack.
- SEC-registered broker-dealer.
- Alternative Trading System (ATS).
- Transfer Agent licenses.

So, Ondo now has compliant tooling to issue, trade, and manage tokenized securities in the US. This bridges regulated financial assets onto-chain.
It may also be a way for the Global Markets to become accessible in the US. Especially with the current crypto-friendly government. So, it’s great that Ondo now has U.S. licenses. However, any shifts in SEC or US securities law could affect tokenized securities platforms.
Integrating Oasis Pro is also a complex operations challenge. It requires scaling tokenized stocks and managing compliance across jurisdictions. So, there’s still plenty of work to do for Ondo. Nonetheless, this is a very positive step forward for Ondo Finance.
Head of Global Regulatory Affairs
Ondo Finance has appointed Peter Curley as Head of Global Regulatory Affairs. He brings experience shaping financial policy to the table. Among others, he did this at the SEC and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. However, he also has experience in the opposite side of the spectrum. For instance, at Coinbase and Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd. It looks like Curley is well-connected, and that doesn’t hurt.

Technical Analysis
It’s time to look at the current $ONDO price of 76 cents. It has a market cap of $2.4 billion. Out of the 10 billion $ONDO tokens, only 3.1 billion already circulate. However, Ondo has a slightly unusual vesting schedule. Unlocks happen only once per year, on January 17th, until 2029.
The only other 2 times this happened, the $ONDO price didn’t suffer. However, it’s definitely something to keep an eye out for. These unlocks are for 1.94 billion $ONDO. At the current price, that’s $1.72 billion.
Since March this year, $ONDO has been caught in a sideways trend. Support was at 67 cents in June. Resistance was at $1.14 in July. A more recent resistance zone is at 98 cents to $1. Breaking above this would be a bullish confirmation.
$ONDO hasn’t made a decisive move yet. I will look at the possible $ONDO prices in a moment. Its ATH was $2.14 from December 2024. It’s currently 58% away from that.
However, having said that, I do see $ONDO as one of the projects that should do well during a bull run. Also, for the long term, $ONDO seems like a solid project. By 2030, the RWA market should be worth at least $16 trillion. Currently, it’s a tad shy of $20 billion. That’s an 8000x from here. With only a small slice of that market, $ONDO should do really well.

How Much $ONDO Do You Need to Become a Millionaire
So, this is what you’ve been waiting for. How many $ONDO do you need to become a millionaire. Let’s dive straight in.
At the current price of 76 cents, you need 1,136,363 $ONDO. The $1 resistance is an easy calculation, that’s 1 million $ONDO. However, the July resistance of $1.14 means that you need 877,193 $ONDO to become a millionaire.
NekoZ on X sees $1.30 as the next target. You will need to bag 769,230 $ONDO to be part of the millionaire circle.
Crypto B on X sees a $2.16 price on the short term. This means 462,963 $ONDO to become a millionaire.

Umair Crypto on X sees a 2x or 3x from here. That means a 2x is $1.76 or 568,182 $ONDO. On the other hand, a 3x means $.2.64 or 378,788 $ONDO.
Johnlee sees $7.50 in the cards. That means 133,333 $ONDO for access to the millionaires’ club.
Jolly Green Investor on X is even more optimistic. He expects a $20 price for $ONDO. That’s a 22.7x from here or 50,000 $ONDO.

Now, it looks like $20 in the short term is a bit too optimistic in my book. However, I won’t object to it, but I see this as a more realistic long-term target. Right now, $ONDO seems to be undervalued.
