The Base–Solana Bridge is now live on mainnet, and it’s a big moment for both ecosystems. With this bridge, people can easily transfer assets between Base and Solana.
The new Base–Solana Bridge uses Chainlink CCIP and Coinbase for secure, verified, and reliable transfers.
Why This Bridge Matters
Base has always believed in being a bridge, not an island. If we want a real global on-chain economy, people need to move assets as fast as they send a message. They also need to use apps across chains without having to think about which network they started on.

The Base–Solana Bridge helps turn that vision into reality. It links two large ecosystems and allows one to easily move the assets among them. It also assists builders in supporting assets of either chain without complicated custom effort.
What the Base–Solana Bridge Unlocks
With the Base–Solana Bridge live on mainnet, a lot becomes possible:
1. Easy movement of assets
You can now directly transfer SOL, SPL tokens, and other Solana assets to Base and vice versa. It allows more freedom and expands what people can do across chains.
2. Apps on Base can support Solana tokens
Builders can now let users deposit and use SOL or any Solana asset inside their Base apps. This adds new liquidity and new features for users.
3. Users can trade Solana assets on Base
People will soon be able to trade SOL, CHILLHOUSE, TRENCHER, and more Solana tokens on Base in apps that integrate the bridge.
4. Apps are already rolling it out
The bridge is rolling out to anyone using apps like Zora, Aerodrome, Virtuals, Flaunch, and Relay. This means users will start experiencing cross-chain features right away.
The Base-Solana bridge is live
Secured by @Chainlink CCIP alongside Coinbase, the bridge unlocks new cross-chain experiences:
• Support Solana assets natively in Base apps
• Enable users to trade & use assets across chains
• Bridge assets and tap into both ecosystems🧵

How It Works
The Bridge uses Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Coinbase and Chainlink node operators each verify messages independently. That means each transfer is fully checked before it goes through, keeping everything safe and reliable. The code is open-source on GitHub, and builders can start integrating it today.

Conclusion
The Base–Solana Bridge marks a major step toward an open, connected on-chain economy. It brings together the strengths of two ecosystems and makes cross-chain activity simple for users and builders. Solana is only the beginning. Base wants to support every asset, on every network, at any time.
If you’re a builder, you can start integrating the bridge today. If you’re a user, you’ll soon see it live inside your favourite apps.
