The company has proposed a live test of its onchain airdrop system by distributing a small amount—just $1 worth of USD1—to all current $WLFI token holders.
This move aims to kill two birds with one stone: testing the USD1 airdrop system and rewarding early supporters.
Testing the Waters with a $1 USD1 Airdrop to Reward Early Supporters
The advisory proposal outlines a plan to use this $1 test to make sure the airdrop technology works smoothly on Ethereum Mainnet. At the same time, it’s a chance to put USD1, World Liberty’s new stablecoin, on the map before it hits the broader market. There are three big reasons behind this proposal:
-
Prove it works: The team wants to confirm that the airdrop infrastructure performs as expected in a live environment.
-
Build momentum: A small-scale rollout of USD1 could generate buzz and get folks talking.
-
Thank the loyal: This is a tip of the hat to the early $WLFI holders who’ve been in the trenches since day one.
We just posted a new governance proposal:
To test our airdrop functionality by distributing USD1 to all $WLFI holders — rewarding our earliest supporters and preparing for future growth.

If approved, each eligible wallet holding any amount of $WLFI will receive a fixed $1 in USD1, with funding provided by World Liberty Financial, Inc. The number of eligible wallets and the total budget will determine the final airdrop amount. The company reserves the right to tweak or cancel the airdrop at any time and will set eligibility rules as needed.

This kind of dry run is important. It helps the team work out the kinks and build trust before any large-scale rollout. Plus, it gives the early adopters a little pat on the back—and a digital dollar in their wallets.
Cast Your Vote
The community can vote “Yes” to greenlight the $1 airdrop test or “No” to hold off. For those on the fence, there’s an option to abstain. As they say, you’ve got to crawl before you walk—and this $1 test could be the first step in something much bigger for World Liberty Financial.
